¿Who was my best teacher?

I remember differents teachers but the best was my english teacher Janetth Mina. I worked with her in the graders 9th - 1oth and 11th graders.
Always I had liked English it was my favorite subject in the school. I had many english teachers that they did the subject something difficult however I had the skills to understand them.

Their strategies and methodologies always were the same " Open your book page __ and please translate into spanish all text and after answer the questions". During two hours the students looked for the words in a dictionary.

Janeth tought english in a different form. She used activities that motivated the students and the classes were interesting her task were differents you as student didn`t lern by heart.

Janneth told us the need to learn english fourteen years ago.

I didn`t think that I would be a teacher because my big dream was be a Hotel managment, but now I love my profession as an english teacher.

I'm a teacher and I work in a prestigious school. I`ve tought english since 7 years ago. I've never traveled the other country. I've studied and learnt english here in Colombia.
In our school there are 8 teachers. The english department always have been reflecting in the needs and aspirations of our students. To approach real english expressions and improving teaching english pronunciation the teacher suggested school to bring native teachers.

Nowadays we have 2 native teachers. It's a big opportunity for us to practice but they aren't really english teachers. They have studied others careers. They don't know teaching methods. They have an excellent communicative competence for their native condition.

¿Would I teach spanish in another country if I weren't teacher?
